Terms and Conditions

All purchases must be paid in full day of auction. Some items will be auctioned with owner’s acceptance (or rejection) of last bid. Items listed may not be exact items on auction day. Inquire day before auction to confirm.

Auction Day Registration

On auction day, prospective buyers register for a bidder number by showing a valid driver’s license and filling out some simple information. The registration and preview period usually begins 1-2 hours prior to the scheduled auction time.

Fees

There is no fee to register at the auction and high bidders may use cash, personal checks or credit cards for payment. There is a 3% fee if you use a credit card and sometimes sales tax.

Larger/Expensive Items

If you are a new customer and purchase equipment, vehicles or real estate we typically ask for a letter from your bank to ensure proof of funds.

Loading

All items must be removed from the auction site at the end of the day. Be prepared with your own loading help and equipment, as helps is not always provided.

Absentee Phone Bidding

If you’re not in attendance for the auction, you can bid over the phone – if you first fill out an absentee phone bid form.

Rowley Auctions is a family owned and operated auction company that has been conducting auctions in the state of Michigan and beyond for more than 30 years. We also conduct auctions in parts of Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania.

Terms and Conditions

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the condition of the items and bid accordingly. Inspection of the items is highly recommended so you, the bidder, can judge the quality of the items for yourself.

Preview

You may attend pre-sale viewing for all our auctions. All property to be auctioned is usually on view for several days prior to the sale. You are encouraged to examine lots thoroughly. You may also request condition reports Rowley Auctions. staff are available at viewings and by contact.

First-Time Bidders

Depending on the auction, there will be specific pick-up times in which you must have items removed from the location. We encourage you to mark your calendar for these dates.

Fees

High bidders may use cash, personal checks or credit cards for payment. There is always a 10% buyers fee and a 3% credit card fee.

Shipping

We will provide shipping for anything that fits in any of the priority flat rate boxes. Anything larger than that Rowley Auctions does NOT provide the shipping service. If you require shipping services please contact Pakmail in Lapeer, MI at 810.245.3844 to make arrangements. It’s the bidder’s responsibility to take shipping, handlings and insurance costs into consideration when bidding on items. All “shipping” purchases must be paid in full within checkout dates/times.
